Hi there, I'm Leah!
I've always been an animal lover and someone who feels most at home in nature. Travel keeps me sane, and exploring new places and being in nature is how I recharge, heal and reconnect with myself.
With BearWithMeow, I'm bringing together my lifelong passions for travel and photography in the name of good deeds and meaningful causes.
Two causes are especially close to my heart. The first is animal welfare, particularly helping cats and dogs who end up living on the streets. I grew up rescuing stray animals in Bulgaria, and that love has stayed with me ever since.
My second passion is reforestation and reducing our carbon footprint. My favourite tree is the mighty sequoia, and through BearWithMeow I hope to contribute to protecting and restoring our forests.
My hope is that the things we bring into our homes can do some good beyond simply making us happy.
